CONGRESS AND CONCERT HALL,ICELAND

The concert hall is part of a large masterplan project for the Reykjavik harbour area.

The building explores the boundary between sea and land through its glass prisms facade, capturing the dramatic lighting conditions around the site .

Inside, the main concert hall is organised as the heart of the building.
The heart, a red plywoo-clad hall is an accousticly flexible space, capable of housing the most variade performances through its adjustable geometry and wall modulation.
The rmain red hall was my main area of involvement, dealing with all lighting aspects, as well as the main stage platform design.

The Concert hall project in Reykjavik is my second project with Henning Larsen Architects.
